Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions about the TTW rating, the calculation system, and connection.
How does the rating change? expand_more
In short
Ratings change only after completed, valid games. A win gives a boost, while a loss removes part of that same value. Beating a stronger opponent changes the rating more noticeably. Technical results do not count toward rating.

Details: how is the rating calculated? expand_more
The idea is simple: a win over a stronger opponent is worth more, and a win over a weaker opponent is worth less. A loss does not cancel the full amount, only part of it. This keeps the rating both motivating and sensitive to the quality of wins.
Exact formula:
RatingWonNew = RatingWonCurrent + DeltaRatingLostNew = RatingLostCurrent - Delta / 2Delta = max(0, 100 - RatingWonCurrent + RatingLostCurrent) / 10 * KTKT = max(0.2, round(R.avg / 200) / 10), whereR.avgis the average rating of the tournament participants.
If the winner's rating is more than 100 points higher than the loser's rating, the delta becomes zero.
How do I connect my club to the TTW rating? expand_more
To connect a club, you must complete the official application on the "Connect Club" page. Applications are accepted only from club administrators.
